What is your creative process?

For me, songwriting usually starts with words. I’ve always been fascinated by the way a few words can capture a feeling, a memory, or an entire moment. I’m not someone who usually starts with music theory, scales, or a complicated guitar part. Most of the time, I start with an idea, a line, or something I’m trying to say. From there, I work through the lyrics piece by piece until the story feels right, then let the melody and music grow around it. I use whatever creative tools help along the way, but the story is always at the center of the song.

Do You Perform Live?

Yes, although live performance is something I’m currently getting back into. It was a part of my music years ago, and after spending a lot of time focused on writing and creating, I’m starting to bring that side of the music back again. I’m looking forward to playing more live shows and sharing these songs outside of a screen. Stay tuned for upcoming dates, locations, and performances

What Kind Of Music do you make?

I usually describe it as Island Soul. It’s a mix of island and reggae influences with Americana, folk, acoustic music, and singer-songwriter storytelling. Some songs lean more reggae, some more Americana, and some are just me and an acoustic guitar. I don’t worry too much about making every song fit into the same box—the common thread is the writing and the story behind it.

Where do you find inspiration?

Mostly from life. Memories, relationships, places, conversations, mistakes, getting older, and sometimes just a single thought that I can’t get out of my head. I’ve found that the smallest details often make the best songs. Sometimes I know exactly what I’m writing about when I start, and other times I don’t fully understand the song until I’m halfway through writing it.

Absolutely. If you have a story, memory, relationship, or special moment you’d like turned into a song, we can create something around it together. You share the details that matter to you, and I take the time to work through the lyrics, feeling, and direction of the song. It’s a personal, collaborative process—not a one-click song generator. The goal is to create something that feels genuinely connected to your story and becomes something you can keep, share, or give to someone special.
